Is WordGlimmer free?
Yes. The game is free to play and contains ads. A one-time purchase removes automatic ads between levels. Optional videos for extra letter hints remain available, including after the purchase.
Can I play in Dutch too?
Yes. Both the menus and puzzle words are available in English and Dutch. The Dutch name of the same app is WoordVonk. Level progress is saved separately for each word language.
How do I play against someone?
VS works locally: both players need the app on their own device and the same Wi-Fi network. Word duel uses Dutch words; Card duel follows your selected word language. Online matchmaking is not available yet.
How does iCloud saving work?
Use the same iCloud account on your iPhone and iPad, and turn on sync in Settings. Your levels, stars and friends sync in the main menu. Restore purchases separately using ‘Restore purchase’.
Which devices can I play on?
WordGlimmer is made for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. The App Store age rating is 13+.
