Padel Masters has no server of its own. Everything it stores lives in your own iCloud account, on Apple's infrastructure. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third party code of any kind in the app.
What stays private to you
Your players, sessions, sets and scores are written to your private iCloud database. That is your personal iCloud storage. It syncs between your own devices and it is not readable by us, by other players, or by anyone else. If you are not signed in to iCloud, it simply stays on your phone.
What becomes visible to other people
Two things leave your private storage, and both are things you choose to do.
A published profile
If you publish a profile, these are stored in a shared iCloud database so other players can find and recognise you:
- Your display name
- Your handle, for example
@murat - Your profile picture, if you set one
- Your level and experience total
- An identifier derived from your iCloud account, used to tell profiles apart
Publishing is off until you turn it on, and you can undo it. Only your handle is searchable. Your name is not, which means nobody can browse a list of users or find you by guessing names. The only ways to reach you are a handle somebody gave you or a link somebody sent you.
Sessions you share
When you finish a session, the results can be shared with the people who played in it, so a night of padel appears in everyone's record rather than only the phone that typed it in. The shared copy contains the players' names, the scores and when it was played. It goes only to people who were in that session.
Who can see what
Because published profiles live in a shared database, we can technically access what is in them. We do not use that data for anything, and it is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build a profile of you. Your private results are not accessible to us at all.
Reports and blocking
If you report someone, we store who reported whom and which category you picked. Nothing else, and not the free text of anything. Reports are read within 24 hours.
Blocking someone hides them from you completely: they leave your squad and stop appearing in search, in requests, in invitations and in anyone's list of who they play with. The list of people you have blocked is stored on your own profile so it survives you getting a new phone. Being blocked is not announced to the person blocked.
Worth being precise about what blocking can and cannot do. It guarantees that nothing they write ever reaches your screen. It cannot stop them using the app, because in a shared database anybody may write their own records. Anything stronger would need a server, and there isn't one.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Apple's Push Notification service is used to tell you when someone invites you to a game or cancels one. The message contains only what you see in it. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings at any time.
Photos
If you pick a profile picture, the image is copied into the app and, if you have published a profile, uploaded with it. The app never reads your photo library beyond the single image you select.
Children
Padel Masters is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Deleting your data
- Remove your public profile. On the You screen, unpublish. This deletes your profile and releases your handle so it can be used again. Your results stay on your own device.
- Remove everything. Deleting the app removes the local copy. To remove the synced copy as well, delete the app's data in iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
One thing worth being straight about: a session shared with other players is a copy on their device. If you delete your profile, those copies remain with the people who played in that session, because it is their record of their own padel too.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is stored or who can see it, the app will say so rather than quietly updating this page.
